Norfolk suit, field-tested on the boulevards of Paris and Budapest last week.

Wow, the grey suit goes well with the brown shoes (and I dislike brown with grey)

The rust colored corduroy is fine with the odd jacket...but the rust orange buttons draw match well with the trousers

Apologies if it wasn't clear, but the two pictures are of the same jacket, paired with accompanying suit trousers and rust cords respectively. The lower picture shows a truer to life colour - betraying a hint of lovat green hues. The cloth is a 20oz Donegal from Hardy's Alsport range. The shoes are actually Chelsea boots worn under full-cut trews which wear exceedingly comfortably for long walks on European cobblestones. The jacket itself, true to its shooting heritage, is excellent for travel with its ample pockets and up-turnable collar, and bi-swing back with shoulder pleats. The addition of the cravat, red and orange respectively, completes this most cosy autumnal ensemble.

Very nicely tailored, the ascot look goes well with the suit. The pattern on the ascot from what I can tell looks like small dots.

Thanks chaps for all the kind comments. My foremost consideration in commissioning these Norfolk suits was comfort, especially on long intercontinental trips. Nonethless the suits do seem to elicit many "that must be bespoke" comments, which goes to show how rare such eminently practical garments are in this mass-produced pret-a-porter age.

The cravat is bespoke, from a cotton with a piscine print. Shown here with an even heavier Norfolk of handloomed 25oz~ vintage tweed. I designed this particular one for wear in subzero degree Celsius weather without the need for an overcoat.

Well it theoretically gives greater allowance for the shoulders to flex sideways and upwards. The belt however, is purely decorative.
