Old Dog, what a wonderful display of striped DB's. What I really enjoy seeing is how they all fit the same. If you don't mind my asking, where did you have the suits made? Also, are they all done by the same tailor?
The mixing of patterns is beautiful. Bravo!!!

Thanks. Yes, they are all made by the same "tailor." Actually, the suits, purchased over several seasons, are from a RTW merchant whose garments are made to its design by a well known manufacturer of tailored clothing. This model from this "tailor" fits me well with very little adjustment. I would not even call it alteration since, when I use the merchant's MTM program to get a particular cloth or configuration not available OTR, I hardly vary from the stock sizing. I don't mean to engage in the never-ending debate between bespoke and RTW; however, my loyalty is to menswear retailers from whence I sprang, and I'm lucky at 5'10" and 160 lbs. to fit several manufacturers' standard 42R well.Cufflink79 wrote:Old Dog, what a wonderful display of striped DB's. Lucky indeed. When I think of the time and money I could have saved if only... Of course, were that the case, I'd probably have found an even more destructive vice to fill the slot in my week.oldog/oldtrix wrote:...I'm lucky at 5'10" and 160 lbs. to fit several manufacturers' standard 42R well.
