Cloth for a traditional blue blazer
I am not at all sure about the "kipper" ties he wears, but Prince Michael has a nice Blazer.
I don't like the ties either, but I confess that part of me likes the high shirt collars.

I have never seen these ties before - where can they be bought?
Just took delivery on a DB blazer in fresco (looks nearly like hopsacking) that has those very buttons, but in antiqued bronze. Should make it more useful in the evenings.dopey wrote: As a footnote, I once had a near-blazer with silverish metal buttons that were engraved with a very fine siped herringbone pattern (think of the soles of the old Sperry Topsiders). I retired the blazer but kept the buttons. I think those buttons would actually do fine duty on a heavy linen coat but I don’t think I would call the result a blazer.
