I am pleased to announce that Mr. Andrew Ramroop of Maurice Sedwell, a Savile Row craftsman of great distinction, has joined the membership of thelondonlounge.

One of the objectives of this club is to assemble a group of the very best sartorial talent available in the world today to act as resources for our members, guests and visitors. Mr. Ramroop fits very comfortably into this very small circle of elite artisans.

I have had the opportunity to participate in many discussions with Mr. Ramroop on the subject of tailoring and Elegance that have been very instructive. His insights into the nature of the collaborative enterprise between artisan and client are particularly interesting and useful. With any luck we will be able to explore some of the insights during the course of conversations here on thelondonlounge.

Those who generously donate a bit of their time to answer questions render great service to thelondonlounge. Please be kind to direct your questions to all of the artisans present with the full understanding that they may not always be able, given their time constraints, to answer immediately. When they do answer please take a moment to remind them of your gratitude for their response.

Welcome Andrew. As an introduction, can you provide some information about your company and specifically your house style, silhouette, etc. If possible, could you compare your house style with that of other SR shops like A&S, Pooles, Huntsman?

I would like to stop by next month when I am in London.
