Summer suits: 2-button or 3

I am considering having a tropical wool suit made.
although i often prefer 3-button SB's,
i am thinking for a 7 oz fabric, and half lined, perhaps a 2-button is the most appropriate.

although, quite honestly i am as likely to wear it open as closed, depending on temperature
any thoughts?
