Here is a pair of Golosh Oxfords made of black calf and gray suede. I will wear them with a stroller and morning dress trouses, instead of full morning dress boots.
This is where my inspiration came from.
Made by the last (aging) shoemaker in Bucharest.

I'm beginning to wish I lived in Bucharest . . .
I am wondering if I need to pay a visit to Bucharest
Costi, love those shoes!

Great shoes Costi, I really like the look of the houndstooth trousers along with the stripped trousers as well. Your stroller idea just begs for colored and stripped shirts with white collar and double cuffs. Don't forget a walking stick and homburg hat.
Please post some photos when you get a chance.

LOVE THOSE!
There's a pair of Westons similar to those, but with patent leather.

Hehe! That would be de trop for meCufflink79 wrote:Don't forget a walking stick and homburg hat.
I will have pictures taken at the next matinée. I find the stroller a nice break from matching coat and trousers, without going informal. It is not as demanding as full morning dress and actually hardly draws a second look. Plus, as you well pointed, you can accessorize with a (discreetly) striped or coloured shirt and... shoes that are to formal boots what a stroller is to a morning coat.
Thank you! Do you mean this?:Cary Grant wrote:LOVE THOSE!
