Dear LondonLoungers,

i plan to visit Naples with my father for three days in October this year. Besides enjoying the good food and a nice hotel (recommendations welcome!) I would also like to do some shopping.

Ties should be no problem. I plan to visit Marinella for some bespoke ties, maybe Attolini.

I would love to get a pair or two of bespoke pants (Ambrosi?) IF a fitting is possible after 24 or 48h. I assume we will stay Friday to Sunday so this might be a problem.

What do the fellow board members recommend in and for Naples?

Kind regards from Berlin,

Max

Best Tailor, Mario Formosa or come to Sicily

Best Shirts, Luisa D’Ambrosio

Best shoes, Go to the UK, no matter what you hear to the contrary

Thank you. Vesuvio seems to be fully booked on all weekends in October - I try to arrange something with my travel agency.

Will Ambrosio be able to do a fitting after 24h?

Regards,

Why would you recommend Formosa and D'Ambrosio over other tailors (e.g. Rubinacci, Panico) and shirtmakers (e.g. Borelli, Matuozzo)?
