Your Bespoke Projects
Sator, you never cease to amaze me: making your own tailcoat?! That's quite something. You don't need a tailor, you only need a consultant
Sam, my shirtmaker makes my pyjamas. As in streetwear, I prefer full cut, high rise trousers (of course, the cut is different) and a shirt that lets me move freely (without looking like a tent), because I tend to have an... animated sleep Since I like to sleep with a light cover even in summer (a cotton sheet), I have summer pyjamas made with no collar, short sleeves and trousers so I can cool off by sticking out a limb or two. In matters of nightwear the purpose of bespoke is to match my idiosyncrasies and ensure a comfortable sleep.

I would love some bespoke silk pyjamas. I must ask my shirtmaker if he can make them for me.
However, I would have to cut myself a bespoke silk dressing gown to go with it:
I would kill for a dressing gown like that!
I have brought some books that show me how to make up my own frogging just for this purpose

Sator- Sulka used to make dressing gowns like that. It is a shame that they are no more..

I do hope Sator will allow us to contemplate some images of his project, not only the final result but in the making. Congratulations also for the job offer!

Nearest term are two SC's One is a Hield diamond pattern and the other is a very light weight Hardy windowpane ( both SB's! ). Also a pair of cream mohair trousers. Later this summer I'll have more going on as I head into fall and winter.
