I was thinking of getting a fly-fronted marcella shirt similar to the one below, and having a tailor add a single buttonhole for a dress stud. Do you think it could work or would it look improvised? Also, is a marcella shirt elegant enough for a one button dinner jacket with pointed revers? I would prefer to wear a stiff marcella front shirt with a Grafton collar, but alas my body type does not favor wing collars. I would be wearing a three button black silk or wool waistcoat, gold/onyx dress studs with matching waistcoat studs and cuff-links.

But, pray, do not despair, your question has already been approached, at least in part, in the context of another thread, to wit: http://thelondonlounge.net/gl/forum/vie ... t=marcella
