what do you gentlemen think of the length
This is the 2nd fitting of a new DB suit . As you see we have left the right had side longer the left and I personally think it is the best length for a DB . Any thoughts ?

Yialabis, left side more better (in my opinion)...
A picture from behind may help. If, like me, you have short arms the ability to cup the coat hem in your hand is of secondary importance if the coat doesn't adequately cover the seat.
Its very hard to tell without seeing a full length image. We need to see the relation between you legs and torso. Choose the shortest possible length that covers your behind, in this case the shorter side (the left) looks better to me.

Left side (the shorter)! My tailor makes me measure the length of my coat with my hand in natural position, you should grab the skirt of the coat with your hand, as in an envelope.
Good looking DB, btw!

Thanks to everyone , I'll go with the shorter side I think ..it looks better from the back and it does cover my back side .
I'll post some pic from the 3rd fitting next week .
thanks

Dear Vassilis
I would not have gone any longer...it looks fine as is.
And if your craftsman puts out nice looking work like the suit you are showing, it goes to prove the fact that premises mean little.
Cheers

Dear Michael,
You and the other members were right. It does feel better at this length.
I will pass the complement on to him , he gets a bit confused when I tell him that I put his work up on the internet and other people see it abroad ..I don't think he knows exactly what I mean. !!
All the best ,
Vassilis

Its looking good.
Final result . ! I am happy with it , not totally convinced with the buttons I have chosen but unfortunately I don't have a large selection of buttons to chose from in Greece .I might change them to a more dark brownish color next time I'm in London .
and one more relaxed because we do sit down in our suits too ..
kind regards to all
