2 bespoke suits and a sport coat

What do the more experienced gentleman think of the tailor I have been using for the last year . Sorry about the quality of the photos but I have taken them all on my own so I had to set the camera and then run in to position ..! [

Perhaps my question was a bit misleading or even inapropriate. Obviously you can not voice an opinion about my tailor as you don't know who he is! I am going to re-fraim the question by putting it more in the context of what do you think of the fit and the general look of these bespoke items. I would really appreciate some feedback.

The 2-button seems to suit you more. With the 3-button, you have the buttons, the stripes, and the ticket pocket all cluttering up your midsection.

Hard to say much about fit, but at first blush they seem to be OK.

Well, you are fairly slim and with the pinstripes I don't think that it looks cluttered.

What cloth is the navy jacket made out of? And are they Holland & Sherry buttons?

Thanks for your reply. We call the cloth in Greek "psatha" I believe it is called a panama in English .It is made by Vitalle Barberis Canonico , It is a very comfortable cloth for the summer and part of the autumn in Greece. The buttons are from Benson & Clegg.

I would ask your tailor to slighlty lower the flapped pockets and ticket pocket an inch or so, they are a little high.

Lowering the pockets will make a big difference to the overall balanced look.

Can it be done? I didn't know!! Thank you for the comment, I will definitely have a chat with him about that. ! Having looked at your site I think you should be interested to know that he is an old fashioned tailor who uses a sawing machine only during 2-3 operations on the coat. The rest is by hand and a needle. Unfortunately he is 72 and he has no assistant …nobody to pass on his skills.

You can't change the pockets on your existing coats - Mr. Merrion war probably refering to future coats.

Of course .. It doesn't make sense !I have already talked to my tailor on the phone and he said «where did u get this strange idea»! (Meaning the idea of changing the position of the already placed pockets)Anyway as you say he is making a double breasted suit for me at the moment and we will have the chance to do that
