Have other members carefully preserved any Sulka ties? This is probably my favourite tie of all time - it can be worn with virtually anything, nearly anywhere at just about any time - and the quality of the material and the construction is superb.

The first time I had the chance to visit Sulka, it was in August of 1999 in Chicago at the Oak Street shop. I brought a tie with a blue background and gold dolphins on them. I have it in good shape and wear it from time to time.
I even have some of the catalogs from when I was on their mailing list. A few years ago I brought a vintage Sulka catalog from the 1920's era on ebay. Ties were $6 bucks then. I'll have to get to a scanner one of these days.
Best Regards,

I have some Sulka silk pyjamas which are so old and light that now I wear them only when backpacking and cycle touring.
