Nice. I wish I could go in on the purchase. Although I dislike brown shoes. I'm warming up when I see such masterpieces as these 2 pairs.

Finally, the wonderful opportunity to stroll along the streets of Shanghai this Winter in a pair of these fine smart-looking boots came.
Two major gripes.
One concerns the corner rubber surface covering a portion of the heel. It should be ribbed or dimpled; perhaps the rubber area should also be enlarged. The shoes find some marble or granite flooring found in many modern Shanghai buildings too slippery because of inadequate grip or friction.
The other is due to the use of those military-style wrap-around lace studs. Not being slim, it's quite impossible for me to re-wrap the laces around those studs like a fit commando. IMO, button studs would be wonderful.
Still, its a wonderful privilege to be the only chap strolling around in the great metropolitan of modern Shanghai wearing such a grand pair of gentlemen's boots. Thanks to G&G and Mr. Alden of LL, of course.
