During my recent trip to Italy I went to the Loro Piana Outlet where I discovered excellet fabrics reasonably priced.
I'll post some pictures in the next days if someone is interested.
In the Biella area, nearby LoroPiana headquarter, I had a wonderful lunch in a magical place that I would like to recommend: http://www.latavernadelricetto.it/

Ricetto di Candelo
I hope il Signor Conte will tell us a bit about the cucina Piemontese he appears to have sampled in its best form.
I have a set of photographs recently taken at Eataly in Torino (http://www.eataly.it) around which I plan to write a brief report in a couple of weeks when I return: also cucina Piemontese at its best, and not only!
Teaser:
It says, more or less:
"Let’s be smart! Seasonal food tastes better and costs less.
One must know how to follow the rhythm of nature, teach our sons the signs so they may succeed in recognizing the right scent and savor of food, the appealing true colour of fruit and its texture.
All this means going beyond the notion of taste as a privilege of the elite to arrive to a concept of taste and quality that is open and accessible to everyone.
Food grown close to our home arrives more fresh on our table."
If transposed correspondingly, do these principles sound vaguely familiar to the concepts of dress and elegance as disseminated in the LL? Well, if they do, know that there is a connection. More about it in a couple of weeks – take the virtual tour in the meantime, it will be very interesting (and mouthwatering).
