Could some of you Gentleman post a photo of pants with waist adjusters or please direct me to where I could find such photos ..in order to give them to my tailor.

Vassilis, several threads (under "Bespoke", if I remember correctly) show side adjusters. A single adjuster at the small of the back is unusual, but I think there's a photograph of that, too (though I doubt I would want the single adjuster at the back of the waist for myself).

I believe that the tailors call such trouser tops 'Daks tops' after their inventor Daks - from 'Dad's slacks'.

Very true.

Sometimes they are also called D Ring trousers as well.
