Would any of the fellow gentlemen have a word to share on the new (2007) fragrance from the house of Creed, Virgin Island Water?

I expect some to be nonplussed by its unisex appeal and coconut notes, but it was my first contact with a product from Creed, and I must say I was deeply impressed of how superior it immediately felt, if compared to the regular designer house scents I'm more familiar with. I have been wearing scents from Dunhill for some years (mainly Fresh) after becoming completely disappointed with Bulgari Blu.

Creed's VIW was an extraordinary discovery for me (it was suggested to me by a salesman from a very nice perfume shop in front of the Pantheon, in Rome, whose name now eludes me) and I intend to buy a bottle very soon. Any comments would be appreciated.

I checked www.scentiments.com for some information. Thought it helpful.

Thank you for the reply, Aristide. I had also gathered some information on basenotes.com, following advice found on these fora. Anyway, I have received my bottle today and must say the scent is very rich and pleasant, with good sillage and, apparently, quite sactisfatory lasting.
