canvas for different fabrics

Gentlemen,
I was wondering what type of haircanvas is best used for winter suiting? I know haircanvas for the main body can contain wool, hair, fibro, cotton, viscose and even polyester at different percentages...So for a winter suit (tweeds and pure cashmere fabrics) what type would you advise?

When I had my car coat made of the heavy NHT, the tailor remarked he used the heavier of two wool canvas' that he uses for winter overcoats.
