I believe I saw esteemed Lounge member Mr. E. Hayes on the uptown Madison bus yesterday evening, looking resplendent in a pale purple hat, lavender scarf, yellow leather gloves, gray flannels and beautiful checked topcoat. He's setting a high bar of sophisticated dress these days. I should have asked him if he was in on the Carmina boot order, but I said nothing.

Mr. Gross, I deeply regret you not approaching me to talk. You sound a gentleman and I am flattered at your kind words.

The topcoat is from Steven Hitchcock. The hat is special order from Orlando of Worth and Worth at 45W57st. The gloves from Sermoneta at 59 and Madison.

If you would send me a private message, perhaps, since we take the same bus line-we could arrange a trip together.
