I usually get worsted jacket from a new tailor. This time, I am thinking of commissioning a a linen jacket with a new tailor.

What are the pros and cons?

I get my linens with skeleton lining. I also ask for very light structure. The fact that the linens I have chosen are not very heavy and do not drape as well as 15 oz worsted, makes it more challenging for the tailor.

On the other hand, it is a good challenge to make linen (esp lighter weights) work for the tailor. If he/she can make the linen work, the wool will probably work better.
