Hello all,
Just got back from a trip to Arizona. Went in several stores which carry "authentic" moccasins make by American Indians, but....I had my doubts. I asked around if I could visit an American Indian reservation to get some REAL moccasins made, but no store owners seemed too eager to help.
Anyone know of any American Indians who may have a business in hand-making them? And perhaps a website or contact info?
Thanks,
Chris
Bespoke or MTM moccasins?

Kirsh,
Russells are not made by Indians but by a Wisconsin family that has been making traditional moccasins for longer than I have been alive. They have a custom/MTM program that is very effective. Take a look:

I haven't bought a pair of boots or shoes from them in more than a decade which testifies to the longevity of their product.
Best,
DDM

DDM: As a person with narrow feet, I've been quite tempted by Russell's custom products. On other forums I've seen mixed reviews about size accuracy, which has made me hesitate. I take it you were pleased with fit?
