I may not have gotten the best room when I stayed there but I was singularly unimpressed with the Bayrischer Hof. I actually decamped and went to the Kempinski. I would recommend the Kempinski.

By far the best dry cleaner and shirt laundry in Munich is Loeffler. They are more expensive than others - but it is definitely worth it. Do not use the services at the hotels - they are awful compared to Löffler.

Since it's German the oe is an Umlaut and is written "Löffler". It's located in the neighborhood "Schwabing" at the Clemensstraße 64 and their telephone number is 089-3009549.
