New York sales legend, Jay Walter, has joined J. Press. Many of you met him at Manton's book party.
After many decades (or centuries?), J. Press will be leaving 44th Street to a corner store at Madison and 46th. Its holding a moving sale of 50% off. Jay tells me that the merchandise is flying out the door, such as its classic shetland sweaters.
In addition to a higher profile at the new location, J. Press will be introducing some new things in clothing. Stay tuned.
