In a posting on his blog, Will discusses the use of scarves as neckwear when one does not want to wear a necktie. What are the dimensions of these scarves in particular. Are these scarves different from ascots? Is a cravatte another term for ascot? Where can one find these types of scarves in New York or London? Thank you.

I wrote about scarves rather than ascots. They need to be six feet long to be tied as I suggested.

Smaller scarves to be worn as bandannas are usually 27" silk squares.

In this photo, the actor on the left is wearing a full sized scarf inside of his shirt. It was worn in a simple, criss cross configuration.
