The talented ex AS tailor, Brian Russell passed away last night.

Some of you may have known Mr. Russell from his days at AS, others will have used his services at Tom Brown of Sackville Street.

Our most sincere expressions go out to his family.

My condolences to his family as well. I saw Brian at his shop last month. He seemed to be in good health and in very good spirits. His business seemed to be doing very well and I had a nice chat with him. He was a very talented cutter and tailor and held true to the A&S style.

I am very sad to hear this news. Brian made a number of things for me - all top notch. Beyond his excellent tailoring, I will miss his sense of humour, his candid feedback (strong opinions), and his awful humming among many other things! I really enjoyed working with Brian, and will miss him as a friend. God bless his soul.
