Gents--
Hello! As a longtime member of the styleforum, I registered on the london lounge. I spent most of my morning opening about 20 threads that were very interesting-- i think THIS is the place which most meets my interests. Well, despite the general feelings about Brioni that is (maybe I will sway some opinions when I can post photos of my new MTM from bergdorf in April).
Question for you-- I'm trying to access the photo section, but can't find it. I'd really like to see the photos of the new oxxford store, can someone direct me?
Thanks!
new member!

Pictures of the new Oxxford Store are in the Photojournal for the East Coast Chapter.
thanks, mark-- i had some problems finding the link to the chapter photos at first, but i found them. great pictures!
I had the pleasure of visiting the oxxford store in december, had a great time talking with Mr. Cohen, and had my new MTM suit tailored in the trouser length, added functional sleeve buttons. the store was great about doing the alterations for a reasonable fee, even though i had purchased the suit (navy blue serge radcliff model) elsewhere.
here's a photo i took at the oxxford store:

lt would be nice if you could pose for a photo with the jacket done up so we can properly assess the fit of the jacket.
Tailored trouser length?
Was the suit originally purchased as RTW?

ah, let me explain this new suit. I am currently working overseas (until august), and with the extra income i was able to make some new purchases. the oxxford suit i ordered from www.directclothiers.com , in the model and size i needed-- but with the trouser legs unfinished, so i could take it to the oxxford store for the final look-over. they adjusted the sleeve length ever so slightly on my left wrist, add functional sleeve buttons, adjusted the center button i think, and trouser length with no cuffs/ VERY little break in the trouser.
The other made to measure i did was at bergdorf goodman, but the head tailor used an existing model of the suit i liked, and made notes and measurements on how they would change the stock model to better fit me, and the trouser length will be finished with cuffs when it arrives at my stateside address in late march-- just before i arrive back in april to try it on!

I just took a look at the site and noticed this:The_Foxx wrote: the oxxford suit i ordered from www.directclothiers.com
"The Oxxford label hand-sewn into place, represents confidence that every garment sewn at Oxxford is a true example of connitment to quality."
Tell me if you can see something interesting...
