In general, evening clothes worn in the daytime looks worse than daytime clothes worn through the night. Nevertheless, if the wedding begins at 5:00 and guests are expected to stay for an evening meal, this seems like an evening event.
Some weddings have a large gap between the ceremony and the celebration, during which guests have time to change. If the wedding ceremony was called for 1:00 and was to last through, say, 10:00 pm that is what I would expect.
The pink vest and tie idea is awful and if your opinion is asked you should offer it. Have your friend tell the bride that when Brangelina married Demiton everyone wore black vests and ties. I have no idea if it is true, but some lies are necessary.
I am Best Man, advice please
Were you laughing at me as one of Tom's groomsmen out in the 3:00 heat of Laguna Beach in tails .dopey wrote:In general, evening clothes worn in the daytime looks worse than daytime clothes worn through the night. I doubt it.
I don't remember, but I might have been in black tie. If I was, I am sure I was following instructions as I have no doubt you were.
I wonder if I have any photos? If I do, I will burn them. You can keep yours to yourself
