Just curious to know if any gentleman here do not mind wearing a pocket watch powered with a quartz movement at a White Tie function.
Or, for that matter, is there any gentleman who wears a wrist watch at a White Tie function?
Pocket watch for White Tie - Non-mechanical movement
I wear no watch when in evening dress. If I'm out to enjoy myself, should I time that enjoyment?

Of course you do not need to, RWS.
It's those English gentlemen in morning dress and frock coats at social events with their pocket watches more than a century ago, perhaps, that had me wondering.
Perhaps a gentleman who has attended a Nobel Prize Award ceremony could give us a report?
