I thought I'd open up a line on Glasses since they are something that most everyone wears in time and who wants a pair that makes you look like a slob.

Here I am in a slovenly state with a pair of old focalsfrom the 1930's that I have just had my prescriptions put into.

Here is another pic with another pair of specs... these are modern with cables that wrap around the ears. I will try to post a better pic of the glasses alone.

Matt, I'm disillusioned! I thought you always wore coat and tie! (But the spectacles are nice.)

I usually do wear a coat and tie, though that day I decided to go incognito.
I took the dishevelled pic for effect.

If you run into me on the street or in the office on any given day I'll have on a tie.

Make that a tie hat and jacket.

I still have the problem of going from 280 to 220 pound in a year and my old suits are too big to be altered. You should see me in better threads in fture pics as I am ready to buy some new suits.

I've got to hand it to you, Matt, you've developed a personal style, and wear it very well, at a young age. Good for you!
Will your new suits be new Vintage suits or new New suits?
BTW, there is a function on the LL site which allows you to "view posts since last visit"; look for it (in small print) in the Forum section; you've got to look hard but it does bring up just the new posts. Cheers.

New new and new old.

I'm going to scout for vintage, and for suits that are made I will have the tailor copy styles from the past, most likely some belt backs will be in my future.

Thanks for the info on the new post button.
