Tailors in Brittain?? (outside London)

Wo knows good tailors in Brittain outside London?
I have heard there are in Eton on the High street a few tailors like Tom Brown, Wlesh & Jeffries and Billings & Edmonds. But maybe there are more places in Brittain where I can find good tailors.

There's another one called Nicholas Jones although i've never used them because i found them a bit arrogant....... but they are supposed to be good.

If you're Dutch, why don't you use Martin Stall? http://www.martinstall.com/ He works out of Amsterdam, apparently, and was profiled by Tom Mahon, so he has that crucial British imprimatur for you.

It might be easier than trying to chase down British tailors outside London in the hope that they'd be cheaper.

It might be easier than trying to chase down British tailors outside London in the hope that they'd be cheaper.

This merchant seems confused as to what product he is offering. In his website he freely uses the word 'bespoke' and even defines it correctly. However under pricing he merely refers to "made to measure" at prices from £650 for a two piece probably of Scabal cloth.

At this price bespoke it is not. Even Des Merrion work from his home is now at £1800 for a bespoke so I cannot believe anyone with the overhead of city of Manchester central premises is doing them for that price.

Both James Personal Tailor and Nick Jones, farm all the work straight to factories.
Unfortunately, fused jackets fully engineered, sold as bespoke.
My price without VAT for a 2 piece suit are £1,575.
I have had to increase them slightly to move forward, and the VAT is unavoidable.

Ah, well.... I might just be less Dutch than you think.... And so are my suits It's for a good reason, thus, that the back of my business cards read: ECHTE maatkleding. (REAL bespoke) It's a jolly little stab at the charaders in the business, of which there's a whole bunch in The Netherlands as well.

And actually, I work out of my humble abode, in the vicinity of Utrecht.
