Just wondering, what do you tip your tailor for cleanings and pressings?

Never, because it seems odd to me to tip a tailor in a big house rather than a small atelier, and I've never seen it done.

Thanks. Yes I meant in a an established house where such service would be complementary after initial purchase. It just seems strange to me not to tip for a complementary service, especially one which asks for time and care. If it is not done, it is not done, I was just curious as to whether others had worried about it or attempted it.

In NYC I do not know of tailors/stores that provide a complimentary cleaning. If a suit were brought in for cleaning I would think that they would direct you to a dry cleaner.

Whenever my local haunt does a repair I tip $20 or so to the tailor. Such includes sewing an armhole, buttons. I do the same for alterations.
