Carmina LL boot sizing

I am about to order a pair of Carmina cordovan wholecuts in the same Rain last as the LL boot.

I wanted to get some information on sizing for those who have received the boots. Did you go one size down from what you wear from Edward Green (606, 888)? Eg: if you wear 8.5E in EG, did you find that a 7.5E Carmina boot fit you well?
