Many thanks for putting this chapter together. All of the sections were marvelous and highly informative - the last section on Savile Row was superbly evocative of another era.

and then was seen with what strength and majesty etutee posts . . .

Goodness gracious. I agree, etutee, I am running out of nice things to say. It's a really beautiful post. Based on some of your prior posts, I've tried out color combinations with much more confidence. They've turned out great and I get a wonderful noetic moment the first time I am able to put them together on my own. I'm also much more discriminating in understanding how various pieces will work into my wardrobe.

Thank you.

Etutee - stunning, just stunning. I give you the joy of a post well made.

It's taken me some time to stroll through your time capsule, so do not mistake my late appreciation with anything other than slow reading. I have to admit that I have never really thought about patch pockets or really wanted them, but looking through the illustrations has me tweaking so many ideas in my mind's eye.

A glass of wine with you sir!

Dear Etutee:
I know I sound like a broken record, but thank you very much for another great AA/Esky post. I really look forward to them and appreciate all the hard work you do in putting the photos and words together. Much thanks again.

Best Regards,

On a recent trip to San Francisco, I had the dedicated and relatively relaxed flight time to read and re-read this post and must thank Etutee (and Mark, Don, zegnamtl and manton) for taking the time to put this together and sharing not only the AA/Esky pictures and text but also for providing commentary from their own inestimable experience. Reading this post, thinking about how the ideas could be incorporated into one's own wardrobe and listening to manton's interviews is one of the better ways to pass several airborne hours.

Thank you, Etutee. I missed meeting you in New York because I was on my way to London, where I put several of your previous posts to good use in new acquisitions and comissions. What a treat on my return to find this new installment. You continue to surpass yourself! I'll hope to thank you in person on another occasion.

It appears that one of the images -- the final image in section 3 -- is no longer there. As I hate to miss any of these amazing pictures I was wondering if someone might either have a copy or might be able to replace it.

Many thanks
