Gentlemen,
As I learned from experience, sometimes discussions held on the London Lounge have a very positive impact on not only our understanding of sartorial arts, but on sartorial arts themselves!
An example: some time ago I posted pictures of my bespoke sports jacket (http://thelondonlounge.net/gl/forum/viewtopic.php?t=341). I asked for comments, and got them aplenty (by the way, thank you very much again to all who commented!). Then London Lounge Magic began its work... The tailor saw the thread, agreed with critical comments and... offered to re-made the jacket -- by his own will, without my asking. End result is so much better than what I once had.
Another example happened just recently. A few days ago I posted pictures of stitching on Russell & Hodge shirt (http://thelondonlounge.net/gl/forum/vie ... php?t=7326). Again, a lively discussion, and again, London Lounge Magic began to happen... The shirtmaker saw the thread, and bothered enough to explain poor quality. What the final outcome would be? Let us wait and see...
