Most of you know to order a half meter or so of extra cloth for your bespoke shirts to make collars and cuffs in the future. But it is equally important to order a half meter or so of extra cloth for your suits or coats for eventual repairs. That point is driven home to me from requests I receive or posts on the LL from members looking for spare LL cloth.

I systematically order a half meter more than my tailor needs and keep it aside. This is particularly important for LL limited edition fabrics that are difficult to find or to reproduce.

I have reserved amounts for all my suits, set aside in a protected container. It is a small price to pay to potentially save a very expensive or very loved bespoke garment.
