Hectorm

Prince Philip is dressing like a B..Gent again. How did he learn to do it? He must have read my book. There are no other explanations.

But to be wirklich stylish, he needs to learn how a German tourist trying to be English dresses. :?

Cheers

Just lovely. I presume you made the Camino?

Would you be willing to share the source of the engraving?

Sumptpuous!
Those buttons really do make a difference in lieu of clickety-click thin golden ones

Thank you. Yes they are big, bad and heavy...and I like every ounce and minute of it. Can't wait to be clanging around town with them. 8) Cheers

The Camino Frances and the Via de la Plata. I have also completed the Via Francigena from Canterbury but the Crossed Keys logo has too many other associations for me.

I bought them from Benson and Clegg who made me a blazer 6x3 at the same time. The etching seems more hand done than the picture of their buttons on the previous page.

That's quite impressive. Walking one is on my bucket list; all three would be glorious. Something to shoot for. So far the closest I've come is a slow night train in the late '70s from Madrid to Santiago to see the illumination of the cathedral and rest of the feast day celebrations. The mortars launching the fireworks from the square made the ground shake so much that I feared for the health of the cathedral's stonework.

Yes, the tapered lines do look much more like proper engraving or chasing. I'll contact them and see what's possible. Many thanks!

Looks fantastic Michael. Would you mind putting it on for us?

Are the show buttons countersunk into the fabric?
