Not minimum, but "Medium" wardrobe suggestion
You know, if I felt that I looked perfect in every other way, I would probably go there too. But I do not yet feel that way. Plus medicine is really different. Incredibly OCD.

This Kilgour list is the only time I have seen the "tautz lapel," and I am quite curious about what this is. Is there anyone who knows? Tautz lapel??
The reference, I believe, is to one E. Tautz, a London tailor of note. Jackets featured a notched lapel. A little judicious googling revealed this link:majestatis626 wrote:This Kilgour list is the only time I have seen the "tautz lapel," and I am quite curious about what this is. I have cuttings of that fabric and another fabric that Mr. Mauritzio gave to Mr. Shattuck -- a black ground with purple and cream dots. Both these fabrics are incredibly beautiful and may be worthy projects for the cloth club some day.

This would be my adaption, which I hope to progress to over the next four to five years. I live and work in a conservative town of about 20,000 in the midatlantic of the USA. I wear a suit during the week days for the practice of my profession. On the weekends I perhaps average one social event and one worship service for which an odd jacket and tie are more apprppriate.

And for shoes one should have 3 black pair and 9 brown ..."according to ample means moderately applied" (Storey,2008,37).
