According to the director, "The film is not finished yet but we are on the way. We hope to have a final version at the beginning of the next year".

Great opening: "Naples is Naples... It's a way of being, a way of perceiving and to interpret the different hours of the day". THAT's what a fascinating city is: not the buildings, not the landscape, not the streets, not the shops. It's the spirit of the people who live there - and everything else springs forward from that. The same with style - it's not about wearing clothes, it's "a way of being", "a way of perceiving", "a way to interpret" life. Dress is a consequence, like the houses, the churches, the piazzas of Napoli; take the life out of it and it is just a dirty place with narrow streets and shabby facades. But THE WAY PEOPLE LIVE in Naples is what makes everything fascinating.

Oh, and Mr. Rubinacci has it right, too: "The individual has to be himself, he has to dress for his own sake"...
