Islay Mill - NHTC tweed

A few weeks ago I was scouting round for some suitable tweed for a shooting jacket & I came across this 22oz cloth – ref K19, woven by the Islay Woollen Mill.

As usual, the image doesn’t fully capture the vitality of the cloth.
I thought it would make a handsome shooting jacket & I’ve now got a few meters of it awaiting an appointment with a tailor.
Since then, whilst searching for some overcoat information on the LL forums I came across this thread from 2005:

The tweed shown came from the North Highland Tweed Company (NHTC), pattern No. 646. It seems to be identical to the Islay Mills K19 (visually anyway). As I understand it, the NHTC are no longer in business.
To satisfy my curiosity - does anyone know if the NHTC & Islay versions are really the same cloth? Perhaps the Islay Mill used to weave the No. 646 tweed for the NHTC?
Regards
Russell
