It is a most informative site, thank you. I particularly enjoyed reading about the construction methods of my own tailor, Welsh & Jefferies. Do you put the suits back together again or are they sacrificed on the altar of education?

Put them back together? God no. It takes so much time to open them, photograph them, edit the photos, upload the photos, write out the post.... They get filed away for future reference, though, so for me, they are valuable learning tools. If someone else can also learn something at the same time, all the better- it makes the expenditure all the more worthwhile.

Excellent blog!
Your dissections are extremely informative and encourage everyone to be their best.
I suspect that with bespoke clothes, consistency is always a challenge. The outfits that produce them are small. The hand work can only be as good as the individual making it; artisans must vary in ability and fortunes wax and wane.
