Gentlemen:

Not sure where this post really belongs, but will leave it to the moderators' wisdom.

Since I returned to the UK from the US a few years ago, decent customer service has been a rare experience for me.

However, I'm delighted to be able to report that the above individual has shown that he is capable of putting the customer's needs at the top of his agenda. I purchased last year about a dozen pairs of Thurston braces-unfortunately all with black leather present. As NJS points out in his excellent book, staining can result from wearing these - in my case 2 white shirts were wrecked before I noticed.

Mr Campy immediately replaced all the black leather versions with white leather versions and I'm assured my shirts are currently being analysed by Thurston to see what caused the staining. I'm assured appropriate compensation will be forthcoming.

Now, if I can just get my boiler repaired ....
