As no one else has said it I will quote Frank Sinatra "A hat's not a hat til it's tilted!"
Another fun and instructive video Michael! Another song quote "You wear it well!"

Thank you Andy. I guess its clear I just love wearing hats. Worn well a hat trebles a man's seductive powers...more on that later. I don't want to give away all the secrets.

Quite a contrast to the "sterness of the stills". A great communicator with a noble message....well done.

Thank you.

There are a couple of themes in the last videos that I will develop in an article. It takes very little to dress well, a good hat, scarf, handkerchief and a pair of gloves can be purchased by just about anyone. They just need to be worn playfully and without great thought. Video communicates the innocence much better than stills or words. More later...

Cheers

Here you go: here is the take home nugget.

But I'll bet that the fedora and a beautiful silk scarf are still rarely worn by many. No?

Michael's video has been posted for a while but I just run into it recently and since then I have been experimenting with different tilts on my few hats (which I seldom wear). I guess I always knew it but I was not doing the tilting on purpose. Now I am. It's a simple but great piece of advice.
It works wonderfully with a fedora, a Dublin walker, and a Panama hat. it's less brilliant with my Astrakhan karakul (ambassador style). I thought that the absence of a brim was making the difference but the tilting doesn't seem to work with my Brooks Brothers poplin bucket hat either (worn with the brims down, of course).
I was wondering if the tilting tip works with all kinds of toppers....or there is something else to it.
