Cleverley's in progress...

My first bespoke pair in progress. GJ Cleverley. Modified galosh.
The last pic is from the first fitting last week; shoe is obviously on a temp sole. Color is truest in that pic. The calf on the finished shoe, once polished, won't be as reddish.

The right last needs some modifiying to further accomodate the high instep. Likely due date this Fall depending on the next fitting.

Very nice chiselled toe and it is another example of the fact that many people choose something distinctive as a first pair of bespoke shoes - after all, there's the greater choice.

Thanks- and yes to "unique"

I have the other bases covered.

And I really need to move on to bespoke suits and rebuild teh wardrobe so this will be the only bespoke shoe for a bit.
