Nicely done, Vassilis! I like your open front quarters. May you catch many thieves!

Thanks for posting these pictures. The coats are handsome and worn well.
I am glad to see the Brisa PoW works so well as an odd jacket as planned.
Now if you imagine the blue of the first coat and the PoW of the second one, you will have the picture in your mind of the next Brisa cloth I hope to do: the blue gray base PoW with a _______________ windowpane. Fill in the blanks...
Cheers
Michael

Michael, if are going to put a windowpane on that suit in a lighter color, I'd suggest ivory. You can consider pink or lavender, but they would be limiting and ivory would work pretty universally. One of the great virtues of the Brisa cloth is its hand and its drape, you want the fabric in the work-horse part of the rotation because it performs so well as opposed to the special situations, limited use section. Plain brisa blue with a single irovry windowpane would make a very wearable jacket. DDM

Michael ,
thanks for the comments , Yes .. what a great idea , the firts coat is one of my favourite colours for summer and I would love to see it with a Pow . Now my choice would be probably some kind of a brown ... The only reason I say this at the moment it is because I see this match in front of me on a beautifuly painted house in the port of Fiscardo in Kephalonia island .. .

Vassilis, do you know the cloth for the first jacket or have a close up? It looks great, DDM

It's a "psatha "(as we call it in Greece ) Fresko cloth that I picked up from closing shop in the old Athenian quarter some time ago .Unfortunately I don't know many other details but it feels very light to wear even under 40 degrees ..
