Really Waterproof Raincoat?

I was thinking it might be a good idea to combine hi-tech highly water resistant fabrics (e.g. Goretex, or Ventile cotton), with a traditional looking raincoat that can be worn with a suit (say like a Burberry). Do any Loungers know where I could get such a thing in the UK?

Maybe not high-tech, but this coat is 100% water resistant -

Mine is bottle green and I am absolutely satisfied with it, which is not a surprise since it is a Barbour.

Chatterton - how does it compare length-wise with the classical Burberry's style trench-coats? (Although Burberry's doesn't make the full length trench it seems...)

OP:
Burberry Prorsum does some stuff with this -- there is a hooded trench (strange mongrel, frankly) on yoox.com right now which is 100% synthetic and appears from the front to be a classic design rendered in technical fabric. However, it's white.
Aquascutum may occasionally also do stuff like this, again in its more exclusive designer-style lines.
