Minnis Rangoon?

I notice that the Rangoon bunch is no longer on Minnis' website.

Given that they did some housecleaning in the Dorchester collection, is it possible that they have yanked Rangoon from circulation?

I have a light-weight, very dark blue summer weight blue suit in Rangoon from Anderson and Sheppard. Ordered an extra pair of trousers with it, thankfully. It's by far my most-traveled, hardest-wearing suit. I've taken it to India and China many times and worn it in the hottest North-East weather and still looked elegant.

Yes, that's the one! Today will be 80 degrees in Boston, so I am wearing the A&S with a white T&A bespoke shirt and a grey, silk knit tie. I have been told twice how well I look.

I encourage any one who lives, or has to travel, to warm climates to buy some Ragoon fabric. For my money, it's makes up into a more elegant suit than Fresco.

Does anyone by any chance have any photographic samples of any of the following from the Rangoon collection that more truly show the color of the cloth than the (less than ideal) photos on the Minnis website? I would greatly appreciate seeing any such samples.

Sorry, but the only source I have for cloth sample photographs is the merchants' sites and I find that J.G. Hardy/ J. & J. Minnis are the ones who show the most and the largest pictures.

I only wish that H.Lesser and Smith Woollens, among others, showed more of their wares. (Nudge, nudge....)

I agree it's a nice feature that others ought adopt -- I just wish the Minnis photos were a bit more true to life. They are so dark!

Well you should be in luck with the dog tooth, my email revealed that:
