Hello everyone. Does anyone know a good tailor in Madrid? The most well-known are probably Larrainzar and Gallo but their prices are too high. I have nice suits cut by cheap tailors but because their prices are quite competitive you must wait at least three months to wear you new suit and I must say that due to their popularity the final result is no as good as I expected.

I know that is quite difficult to get good bespoke at good price but probably you can give me a help.
Muchas gracias a todos

Hola otra vez, Aristocrata, y bienvenido.

Just for people to know, I invited Aristocrata to join the lounge when I found his great blog, which is for sure the best (if not the only) internet place from Spaniards dedicated to "classic" clothing and lifestyle.

About tailors in Madrid, you should read my 'guide' of tailoring in Spain, I believe the table I made will definitely help you: http://thelondonlounge.net/gl/forum/vie ... php?t=7130

You will notice I include Gallo and Larrainzar, but there are also Hermanos Collado, Moisés Córdoba and Cecilio Serna Martinez. There is also the shirtmaker "Burgos". I include address, price, time taken (in hours of work and months of total time), phone number, notable clientele and additional information. I hope it serves you, I feel very proud of the table.

A few years ago I visited a tailor in Madrid whose work looked quite promising:

Sastreria Manuel Calva de Mora
Claudio Coello 113
Madrid

91 576 59 31

You might stop by a take a look. They also made custom shirts.

I am quite familiar with that street but I do not know that shop. Sure, I will have a look
Did you like it? Any more information?
Thanks Alden

Sastreria Ibiza on Calle Ibiza is also quite good.
