I managed to scan a copy of Tailor & Cutter on Saturday. I left out most of the ads. Apologies for not cropping the pages but I was in quite a rush. I hope the following will be of interest:

Can someone please give some background on the Tailor and Cutter magazine? (Who published it, what dates, its subject matter, etc.)

Thank you

Thank you WF for posting those. They are wonderful. I particularly like the use of very English terminology eg double breasted lapels instead of the American 'peak lapel'. I have never come across the expression "turn-upped". I guess you say "cuffed" so why not, I guess.

Tailor and Cutter was a magazine that was around for a long time. I have seen 19th century editions of it. I do not know when they stop printing. But what a shame they did....

Does anyone happen to have the scans originally posted in this thread?

Also, I am on the look out for any Tailor and Cutter magazines from the 30s and 40s (possibly 50s as well). If anyone has any they would be willing to share scans or sell please let me know.

Thank you!
