Jack Buchanan's shoes

Jack Buchanan was a 1920s-1950s star of stage and screen on both sides of the Atlantic; owner and manager of film studios and theatres and backer of John Logie Baird in his pioneering work on television. David Jacobs (the DJ and presenter) once said that you could see your face in JB's (presumably wax calf) Lobb's shoes. Anyone know what happened to his clothes (he died in 1957)?
