They must be one of the last (if not the last) surviving manufacturer of fancy worsteds in the entire Bradford / Keighley area that actually manufacture their own cloth (rather than using commission weavers in Huddersfield).
Harrison's

I actually have a suit made of their worsted flannel, with cashmere. I knew it wasn't the Harrison's we usually think of. It is a very fine cloth, typically English hand. My unerstanding is that they are a mill, like Woodehouse, not particularly keen on dealing with the public.
Ae they still in business?

Hello,
I do not know if they are still in business. I was recently offered some cloth that I believed came from them. I was sent pics as the cloth was on the other side of the pond. Looks like it may have found a buyer. Have been promised swatches but still waiting.
What is your opinion of the cloth? How would you compare it with the usual suspects?

My opinion is that it is actually much better than the other UK wool/cashmere worsted flannels. Firmer hand and beautiful finish. I don't think a scan would do it justice.
