Well deserved honor attributed to a great designer.

And at a high grade -- grand officier, second of the five grades if I remember correctly -- too. I wouldn't have awarded him that, were I Sarkozy. Ah, well, it is the Order of the British Empire -- I mean, the Légion d'honneur.

Well deserved recognition. I admire him since I saw his work for Visconti in Conversation Piece.
